July 23, 2008: Vobbia, Brevenna, Scrivia, Bisagno 
Departure from the Ronco Scrivia Railway Station in the direction of the Island County. The road is nice and unexpected little traffic. Before entering the village there is a deviation to the left and take the highway bypass, after about one kilometer, the beautiful valley Vobbia (5km), characterized by the succession of conglomerates on the road and overlooking Stone Castle, stronghold unique in its kind (photos, click here for info). Once in Vobbia (15 km) we went up through a series of scenic bends towards Crocefieschi (20 km), a country full of monuments and places of interest and known to football fans for being the birthplace of footballer Roberto Pruzzo, champion of Italy with the Rome of Liedhom. Sorri, Nenno, Avossa: The road continues in the enchanting land intact in the lower valley of the river Brevenna, which gives its name to the common spread of Valbrevenna, formed by as many as 22 locations .
From Avossa (32 km), village of Box, the SP 226 has led us down the valley to the pass of the Scrivia Scoffera (49 km). Deviation to the right in Davagna direction and this is a fun and long descent that takes us val Bisagno once Cavassolo of the bridge (65 km), up at the northern end of Genoa. Conclusion inglorious exit of the beautiful was the crossing, unfortunately inevitable, the city to the Old Port, after a ride of 77 km.

Once on the valley of Bormida Pallare we continued up to the lower level along a slight slope which enables fresh look around with calm and feast his eyes with a nice view now. On the floor below begins with the tough climb to Baltera. The rise has bitter tears but it is only 4.6 km long. From there we went on a slope characterized by a dense forest of beech and fir up to Osiglia (22 km) and its long, narrow reservoir. Powered by a dam downstream, the lake is surrounded by chestnut and pine, the environment is very quiet and calm. From the dam begins a steep descent in the first part and then more relaxed. After a fountain on the right, much frequented by cyclists, we get at an intersection where we turned left for Calizzano (49 km). The road climbs gently, and reached the country continues to Bardineto and the Scravaion Pass (61 km). The slope of the hill becomes hard only in the very last stretch, but the effort is largely rewarded by the appearance of the mole, rocky and picturesque, the Rock Barbena. The view from the hill on the road ahead remains is now wonderful. The descent towards Castelvecchio suit, with a first sector-rich rocky outcrops. Finally we went to Zuccarello, interesting medieval ( thrilling turns on the vacuum Castelvecchio from the SS 582) and again towards Albenga (79 km).
